I'm leaning towards Sonsona because of experience and style. He has a very good amateur record and experience, he has already won a title and he fights well on the outside using his long reach. When opponents get inside he doesn't seem to have trouble tying them up, so I thin Vazquez is in for a rough one if he can't get on the inside frquently. I do think Sonsona has to win clearly to get the decision, I just hope they both get a fair shake and to see a good fight :good

..Sonsona is attempting a Manny Pacquiao a two division champion 112-122.Pac won the 122 belt when he was 22 he was a late sub (two weeks notice). This kid is jumping up from 115 to 122 in less than a few months.Pac moved up to 122 in a year.As you know Boxing is 60 percent physical and 40 percent mental.Young kids like this doesn't have the same mental fortitude as Pac.Who was always cool as ice in any big fights.Sonsona and Pac are from General Santos.

I agree with this guy this is what the young man is up against.Tall order if you ask me.

I don't think that is a standarized truth, but the mental aspect is delicately important. Sonsona is not an ordinary young kid, he's a former world champion in one of the toughest sports around and he's still at the tender age of 19. I've never said he has it easy, I just think he has very good chances to win. A very tall order indeed, but one that's not impossible, in fact it's very possible. Do you think Sonsona will lose?

Completely stupid question but I've heard mixed reports on whether this would be televised. Does anybody know if it will or won't be?

    Apricot? I'm guessing Apricot.

Sonsona should lose just for trying to ape the Bobby Pacquaio look.

    Cant wait for this fight!

I really, really dont know who to take, really. But, something about vasquez is telling me hes going to win, seems sturdier, stronger, this being sonsonas first fight at the weight (i think), and vasquez seems to have that fire (which really doesnt mean a whole lot i admit lol) add to that its a home fight for him.... im hoping he can pull it off (only because i picked him and dont want my 2nd loss lol)

cant wait, wish it was being televised :-(
