My only criticism is no mention at all of Lionel Rose....otherwise I enjoyed this one very much...Harada is one of my favorite fighters.

Can you tell me about anything unique to your farthers training? I like collecting training methods pardon its an odd hobbie.

Yes, like you and ChrisCJ, I too am surprised that Rose didn't get a mention for speed or counter-punching - just goes to show the depth of that era, the class of Medel and Jofre and how different things are in the ring as compared to how we suspect from ringside. Enjoy'd his comments on Jofre's power too.

I asked him about who was better between Rose and Famechon and he said Ross was the better boxer. The second Famechon fight was the only one that he didn’t enjoy in his whole career and that’s not just the fight itself (he loves the Medel fight in which he was KO’d) but I think the pressures and vibe around the fight he was feeling burned out.

Harada used to run 15 miles every day minimum.

I don't know about it being unique but he didn't believe in long runs. Three or four miles max with plenty of sprints along the way was his way. Thought that might be interesting after reading Chris's post about Harada's 15 mile runs. Dad always said he couldn't understand it when he heard about other fighters doing 8 or 9 miles let alone 15.

Holyfield pretty much didn’t do roadwork. Harada’s roadwork was also because he relied heavily on fighting on his toes and from angles so he wanted his legs as strong as possible.

Perhaps more insight than usual, though he mostly credits Jofre who he beat twice, so does exactly what most boxers do by crediting the guy they beat

Harada's jab and chin would keep in most fights. Part training, part talent like it usually is.

Ok guys, for those in this thread I’ll also post this in my Harada thread. I don’t think the site allows me too solicit. I am going to be flying Harada out to LA in March. I booked the Jofres already. Harada doesn’t like to travel and leave his gym BUT when he was told it was to meet Eder he was all about it and excited.

What I am offering for people is signed Harada photos (I have 25) for $60 each and photos signed by BOTH Harada and Jofre which will be $100 each (I have 25). 100% of the proceeds go directly to the fund of bringing Harada here in March.

Should I need to reschedule (I have until the end of 2021 with no change fees).

    Thanks guys,
