I was just writing how Alvarado was making Yabuki look like a featherfisted counter puncher.

    Round 11
    Yabuki 10-8
    Yabuki 109-98

Alvarado hurt and dropped just by the end.

    Round 1 Yabuki 10-9
    Round 2 Yabuki 10-9
    Round 3 Yabuki 10-9
    Round 4 Alvarado 10-9, close
    Round 5 Yabuki 10-9, close
    Round 6 Yabuki 10-9
    Round 7 Yabuki 10-9
    Round 8 Yabuki 10-9
    Round 9 Yabuki 10-9
    Round 10 Yabuki 10-9
    Round 11 Yabuki 10-8
Round 12 Yabuki wins by TKO

Felix comes out, gets battered with two hooks to the head. Yabuki unloads, he goes to a knee, it was a push. Yabuki jabbing him senseless Another left hook to the chin jars him. Felix still coming forward. Yabuki coming forward, he wants the knockout, Felix is running. He puts him down again with a violent jab that snapped his head back. His eye is a mess, the ref waves it. A little too soon, but he was taking a beating, that was the right call.

Alvarado was completely done, there wasn't much sense in letting him get hit more, and he never had an argument on the cards.

Second consecutive 12th round KO for Yabuki.

Yabuki has scored T/KO´s in rounds 9, 10, 11 and 12. Dude is a finisher.

The moment he went on his bike justified a stoppage. This is Alvarado, the only reason he would be running like that in the 12th is because he has nothing else left.

I was thinking the same thing as I was writing it, clearly Yabuki did too, he had that Mortal Kombat FINISH HIM! sound effect go off in his head.

Kinda funny to think that all of the champions at flyweight have fought Teraji - Wins over Yabuki and Olascuaga and Losses against Yabuki and Sandoval.

It would be cool see Yabuki against the other two champions. Him versus Olascuaga should be easier to make, since Olascuaga routinely fights in Japan.

Alavarado is usually a tough mofo but yabuki is a huge flyweight

Good fight, one of the best of the year, at least that I’ve seen. I’m glad yabuki pulled it off.

I think the IBF limits rehydration to 10 pounds.
