I'm keeping a close eye on Nakamura, and I'm also hedging my bets on Shuhei Tsuchiya becoming a name someday. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=504308&cat=boxer
Doubtful. Research shows a link between Chinese and Korean languages. Your Filo words are most likely a mish-mash of Spanish, Malay, Chinese and whatever else is around the region.
Have you been reading my posts about Tsuchiya in the Choi thread? :think:yep He's the knockout artist to watch out for from Japan (having said that, he's probably lost today now that I've said that :yep).
Allan Tanada was a decent win, he came into the Nakamura fight having beat world ranked Rikiya Fukuhara. Nakamura was also the underdog in that one.
When they met Nakamura was 22. They were pretty similar in age and experience, really. Tanada had fewer fights but more rounds boxed. It was a good win. Nakamura was/is a decent KO artist and domestic level prospect. Obviously this Pontillas is no bum...or he caught Nakamura cold, Linares style. We'll have to wait and see the video. :good
Sometimes they take a sponsors name (3K Battery being the obvious example) or the gym name (Kokietgym, Dutch Boy Gym etc).
