Was he the most talented japanese fighter ever? And as far as Japanese fighters where do you rank him?
The "Eternal Champion" had the potential to be the greatest, so far, sadly though his death robbed us of his prime, much like Salvador Sanchez in Mexico. Certainly have him behind Harada and Ebihara. Top 5 seems about right based on his achievements. Oguma certainly in consideration (despite his "s****py" record), Watanabe, Gushiken and Shibata would like be there or there abouts but their careers were "complete" whilst Ohba's was left being a "what if..."
