Somewhat rich trash-talk coming from Chuprakov...sure, Itō may be a feather-fist, but you're hardly leveling cities in your wake yourself, pal.

His point is well-taken, however - that his pressure style is on paper more easily discouraged by someone that can get & keep his respect. It remains to be seen whether (and how) Itō can do that...

Itō catches the much (!!) shorter Russian coming forward, clasping him into a clinch and slapping him with body shots as they wrestle in the middle of the ring. Chuprakov is billygoating a little, up on his toes, grinding his skull into the chest of Itō. Chuprakov manages to wrest free his right hand and plows it just above the kidney of Itō on the ref's blind side. Chuprakov pushes off and tries a couple of uppercuts downstairs but Itō sizes him up with a perfect counter left hook on the jaw, stunning him. Chuprakov wrestles his way in close and Itō twists his arms up over his back as though setting up for a HHH-style pedigree.
