    Im glad its going down, I just wonder if Vitali will actually fight either one of them when the time comes.

    This will be interesting, Peter had a helluva time dealing with Mcclines power how is he gonna cope with Maskaev who's got heavier hands than Mccline??:tired

    Wow...looks like the Sam Peter band wagon has fell apart. I will still take Peter by Ko, everyone has a bad night, now and then. Peter's was pretty bad, but he did recover and gutted out the win. I believe he will be more prepared for Maskaev, and will want to make a statement.

    Maskaev is still open to Peters bombs, Maskaev is not known for a good chin either. I honestly dont see this one going the distance, someones geting layed out in this one.

    This fight will be very enertaining, and I cant wait to see it. If Sam Peter could knock out Maskaev it would be great confidence booster for him, and could lead to a PPV battle between Peter/Wlad 2

    Finally we get this fight...its been over a year in the making.

    The McCline fight does nothing to change my pick (Peter by KO) although I feel a little less confident than I did before.

    Well that's why I'm interested to see the fight. :D

    . . . Peter's future lies on this fight. As far as I'm concern he can shut up forever if he loses on this.

    But I'm still leaning on Peter. :yep

    This should be a short fight, Maskaev at 38-39 will have to go for broke early it's hard to see him going deep into a fight at that age against a guy like Peter who can whack like hell.
    On the other hane Oleg can land a bomb that would KO Peter if Mccline almost had Sam out why can't Maskaev???:deal

    Vitali wont fight Peter, he will find another excuse or injury to get out of it. I liked Vitali alot in 03 and 04, but his time is up and hes only pissing off his fans now for repeatedly backing out of fights for the last couple years now

    True, after the Mccline fight I have my doubts as well. I just feel now Peter will better prepared in this one, and its unlikely that Maskaev will out power Peter in the ring.
