Peter's power will get a real test here,Maskaev took all Hasim had and KO'd him. I don't think Peter has more power than Rahman. Peter's just a raw club-fighter heading for nowhere. I'm picking Maskaev by KO.

    NEWSFLASH

Rahman is a far better boxer than Peter with arguably more power and def. a better jab to set the power shots up and Maskaev KO'd him twice.

I'm a Vitali fan and I'm not pissed off, I'd be pissed off if he came into the fight at less than 100%.....................Patience my brother.

This will be the lead in for a massive European showdown between Vitali, the former WBC champion, and Maskaev, the current WBC champion.

Someone is going to make a shitpot full of money on that fight. The European boxing fans will turn out in droves to see a Klitschko/Maskaev megafight.

3 years and 5 back outs, I gave Vitali enough of my time and patience. Vitali is done, if he did fight the winner of Maskaev/Peter it will be close to 4 years of in activity, thats way too long to be out of the fight game.

Theres no such thing as fighting at 100%, I could fill a page up of champions who not only fought with injuries but won as well. I got nothing against Vitali, but when you hold up other fighters careers with all these backouts I do mind.

    You're right.

Rahman does have better power, or at least a better ability to effectively use his power, making him more dangerous in the power category.

    Best guys Rahman has KO'd:

    Lennox Lewis
    Corrie Sanders
    Kali Meehan

    Best guys Peter has KO'd:

    Taurus Sykes
    Yanqui Diaz
    ???

You don't have to jump off, cause The Peter Express seems to have crashed and burned, already.

Maskaev by decision. Possibly even late TKO. :good

After watching the PEter McCline fight, Oleg must be chomping at the bit to get ahold of Peter.

Vitali will be back to his old form for these following reasons:

    1. He's always in shape

    2. He's not that old.

    3. The damage has been surgically repaired .

    4. He said so, and that's enough for me.

Why would he want to come out of retirement only to cancel at the last minute? :huh Many other fighters would've just taken the big payday & prayed that they landed a big punch. I admire Vitali for wanting to be at his best.

Vitali is having problems in his training camp, wether it be injuries or his sparring partners knocking him down left and right, the guy is not 100% and never will be. Hes what 37 and hasnt been able to make it through a camp since 04, its time to hang em up.
