Taken from a russian sports site: 'We have not refused a fight with Haye, which was talked about earlier, but I need to be in top physical condition for this fight'. Well, he will probably need a time machine to achieve that, but in any case, looks like this fight may be on at some point in the next few months.
I actually think Chambers would have enough to beat him though. I think I mentioned Chambers on here as a possible opponent a while back. Now I'm not saying that Chambers would be nailed on to win or anything but I definitely think it is a fight that Haye could lose. It would be a decent test for him first up at the weight so at least he'd putting his money where his mouth is so to speak
I agree. I have no doubt Chambers will land on Haye, it is uknown how he will be able to take those punches.
Plus if Haye puts him away, or beats him in better fashion than Povetkin, it will get people even more excited.
Toney and Rahman would be awful opponents. I would be very disapointed in Haye if he took either of these two guys on and would probably give him one hell of a slagging off. He may as well go with Warren if he is going to fight that standard of opposition. Chambers is a decent fight even though the kid lacks power it would be a decent reflection on how Haye will reallistically do at the weight. I would like an outside punt on Travis Walker but otherwise Chris Arreola could test Haye better than anyone.
I like Oleg. He would be a good opponent but if he does not feel fit then the fight will not happen. Big O needs to fight Haye now or he never will, I can not see him hanging around for too long.
