I haven't heard much in the way of picks for this fight. I for one am actually kind of curious to see how Oleg looks tomorrow, albeit the fact that he is in against limited opposition. Who do you got for this fight? Here is footage of Oleg taken today. He looks to be in great shape: Does anybody know what he weighed in at? And why has he changed trainers. Him and Valle Jr. had a good thing goin there, why would he change to Chuck McGregor? And who is Chuck McGregor? http://www.news10.net/news/story.asp...=71665&catid=2
hard to pick a guy who i havent seen, nor i bet nobody has seen. Maskaev should win on experience alone. if he loses, his stance of trying to get into the top 10-15 are over.
Here is the only footage of Nagy Aguilera that I could find: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sxEwedACEs[/ame]
Do you predict this based upon a strong chin on Aguilera's part, or faded power/speed on Maskaev's part? Or a combination of both perhaps?
Here's Aguilera getting muscled around the ring by a chunky tomato can before bailing himself out with a single punch (not exactly the kind of punch that will get the job done with Maskaev). [yt]6sxEwedACEs[/yt]
Sorry about that my friend, I am just ready to fall asleep and didn't think of making it a public vote.
It would have to be Maskaev. You're right though, no lines on any of the major books. If there's late money you'd have to figure the experts in Vegas or elsewhere would tip Maskaev. Even if there's a good underdog value on Aguilera, I'd pass on it. He's really nothing special - this kind of "tune up" is picked for a reason. If Oleg loses he should call it a career (in fact, he's said as much - he'll keep at it only as long as he's winning until he gets a crack at a belt - preferably one worn by his amateur rival Vitali :deal).
