Maskaev will be fighting Robert Hawkins....

Haye should get himself a fight with a top 10 guy. Somone maybe like McCall would do or Sinan Samil Sam maybe even Briggs.
****.... who doesn't wanna see Briggs get KO'd? :deal

You can dislike him and say many things, but to call him a cherry picker is pathetic. The guy who in his 10th Pro fight went in with Thompson (who was coming of a stunning KO win over Rothmann).
The guy who came straight back from his loss and with a couple of fights was in with a big puncher in Gurov.

Haye then goes to face the Ring Champ and number 1 in the division in his backyard. Going to fight the man in Paris rather than haggle for home advantage etc.

Then risks all his achievements fighting a puncher in an unnecessary British clash, because the fans all wanted to see the fight and many thought Mac could stop him.

    Yeah what a cherry picker.

Who is the European title holder?

I was going to say British title but them remembered it is Danny Williams - he and Haye are good friends.

He needs to find a fight ASAP! IT WOULD BE GREAT IF KLITSCHO WASN'T RUNNING SCARED.

I guess Haye will have to fight someone else coming off a knockout loss in order to claim his heavyweight title.

Haye should fight the Rahman-Toney winner. If it's Rahman, he'll have an easy night and a popular HW debut.

He's cherry picking at the Heavyweight level, don't deny it.

Bonin was chosen due to his high ranking & nice looking record. Maskaev was an easy mark due to his advanced age & he was KO'd in his last fight.
