Who u got? this is gonna be an expolsive fight. two guys who come forward and can crack. Im going against logic and taking maskaev. age, injuries, inactivity are all against him. But i get the feeling Peter has been spending more time in the Vegas strip clubs and buffets than training for the fight :yep so hopefully, The Punisher will be sporting a Scam Cheater avatar real soon and the Peter hype train derails. Your dreaming Kobe is God, Peter will come in at under 245, ready to knock Maskaev out brutally as he and I have perdicted. The Mccline fight was nothing more than a fluke, when your unprepared bad things can happen. I am so pumped up for this fight, almost as much as when Brewster fought Klitskcho last July, hopefully this fights outcome will be satisfactory for me.
yes indeedy. it should be a very exciting as long as it lasts. imo, both men could win either by decision or knockout. nothing would really surprise me. :yep u turned on your boy. ahhahahah....i bet it's only a typo though
You had me scared there for a second, I thought you heard something I didnt, like Kobe is God likes to say " Peter is out having sex with Vegas strippers and his training consists of a early morning workout (sex with a hooker), followed by some road work(Chasing the icecream man down the street), followed up by some light sparring(fending off the pimp, because Peter didnt pay the ***** her money).:yep
i picked maskaev by a narrow margin. the reality is peter will probably be fit and prepared after that close call against mccline. in fact, i am less confident in a maskaev win now, than i was before the mccline fight. why? because peter was going into that fight overweight. maskaev would have ko'ed him for sure but thankfully he was replaced at the last minute by mccline who always loses big fights. i thought peter would go into his fight overweight and with little respect, and in turn get ko'ed for his mistake. however, since he learnt the hard way against a less dangerous opponent in mccline, he SURELY will be very prepared this time out. not to mention maskaev is only getting older, and had a longer period of inactivity than peter. so i will not be the least bit surprise if peter finally ko's a legit top 10 fighter. having said that i still feel maskaev has enough in the tank to survive a TOUGH fight and come out the winner. might win by a narrow margin. might get busted up badly, but he has proven himself at the top level where peter is yet to win at the top level. and beating toney does NOT count.
he was solid in the second fight but boy did he catch a break in the first one against toney. very tough fight to score but the judges scoring was way too wide. i thought toney won but a draw or a very marginal peter win could have been reasonable. but 116-111 is crazy especially with the pt deduction for the double rabbit punch :yep when stuff like that happens and don king is sniffing around the judges, one has to wonder :think
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWiuBILDgqw Maskaev is improved from what he used to be. He is a very hard puncher, tough, experienced, and has not lost a fight in 6 years. He has obviously been inactive recently, but he's the kind of pro fighter who is always in lean, fighting condition, and seems to have a very dedicated attitude towards conditioning and training. I don't think ring rust will be as big of a factor to Oleg as it would to other fighters. And if he can handle Rahman, twice, like that, he can handle Peter. Oleg by TKO, late.
