    He picked up a co-main event slot under Crawford fight on HBO Dec 10!

    The Fight with Beltran could be a FOTY type of war. Its a real test for Menard.

    I'll be pulling for Menard, he's the younger more exciting fighter and Beltran is probably getting close to the end of his career.

    I haven't seen his last few fights but if Beltran has something left, he's 35 and been a pro for 17 years, then he's going to be a handful for Menard and I wouldn't want to bet against the veteran.

    It seemed Diaz was on this card to be built into a future Crawford opponent. Menard might be able to capitalize on that now.

    Even if he beats Beltran he's still not ready for Crawford but a win could be a big step for him to getting a shot sometime in the second half of next year.

    Yup .

    Menard is nowhere near ready for the sensational technician known as Terence Bud Crawford .

    Menard definitely has potential though and just maybe one day he will be good enough to take on Crawford.
