Win or lose Loma will be one of my favorite fighters.2nd fight against Salido who is a badass and has a great chance of beating Loma, but Loma is taking the risk.

IF he wins he will have a better win then any on GGG resume

    Smh

    GGG step ya game up!

Many years too late for that.

Golovkin has been champion since 2010, and has yet to knock off one of the kingpins at 160lbs.
Loma is all business, he's the only person who really wants a piece of Rigondeaux also.

Loma's presence is welcomed in our sport, few like him around today. :deal

Not defending Golovkin's choice of opponents but it's a lot easier when you got Arum with you as soon as you turn pro, whether you like the guy or not.

Loma is young, has talent, and has arguebly the best promoter in the sport. Its not hard for him to fight who ever he wants

If Loma beats Salido, that win alone in his 2nd fight will be better then any opponent that GGG has faced so far.

Don't get me wrong, i'm a fan of both but GGG needs to start stepping up before he's past his peak.

    Basically this :deal

But at the same time, like Salido said, its not fair for the guys that are truly moving up the ranks the hard way.

    It's absolutely fair.

He already went up the ranks the hard way via the amateurs. Mexicans go up the "hard way" because they turn pro at 15 with 3 amateur fights.

Everyone knows Loma and his skills. He's been through it all in the ams and has had 6 WSB fights. What "hard way" is there for him in the pros besides what he's doing? If anything, he's setting the example of how to continue on the hard way.

Salido tho on the slide is still a formidable grizzled vet for anyone 126-130. You saw how a really good technician like Mikey dominated Salido for most of the fight, but Salido NEVER gave up and was coming on strong in the end. Good thing for Loma Salido has questionable defense. That Salido won't stop coming after him and has alot of heart and potentially push Loma to his limit and could upset him, not so good for Loma. Much, much respect to both.

    - Loma is fighting a reigning Champion after 1 fight
    - GGG is fighting Andy Lee who since being knocked out has strung together 3 wins against guys not even ranked in the top 50

    - Loma is fighting the #4 rated 130 pound boxer in the world after 1 fight
    - GGG is fighting the #23 rated 160 pound boxer in the world after 28 fights

    - Loma dares to be great WIN or LOSE
    - GGG has nothing but excuses why he fights only cans

Loma is going to be 2-0, 2KO after fighting Salido. Loma uses angles that Salido hasn't even dreamt of. Loma is out of this world.
