Now that the fight is set for May 7 in Yokohama Japan i want to give respect to Stephen Fulton for going to the Monsters lair and take on Inoue that takes a lot of balls.

He could have stayed home in his comfort zone and fight other fighters for good money who are nowhere near as good as Inoue but hes daring to be great and i commend him for that.

Win, Lose or Draw Huge Respect for Cool Boy.

There's nothing you can do but give respect. he's the champion going into Inoues backyard, a true warrior.

Respect is key, this will show what Inoue is made of. There's only full credit to give, partial credit is for bums.

    Huge respect for Fulton.

I don't like that Inoue is fighting in Japan again. 4 fights in japan in a row ? why ? That's not a big challenge when you have comfort of home, especially in japan, where people are extremely bias

I hope there will be international judges and nobody will favor Inoue, just because he is a home fighter.

Also no BS with the gloves, ring size and other things that might affect the fight.

I mean, I suspect the pay day is way better than he's been offered before - or likely be offered again should he lose - but yeah props to him regardless...

Nothing but respect to Cool Boy Steph. I would have rather they fought in neutral grounds but it is what it is. Win or lose Stephen Fulton should be appreciated and I know he'll make a good account of himself against Inoue.

May 7th? Oh **** I'm going to COOM. What time will the fight be in GMT? Or even Vegas time? I would really appreciate an answer, chaps. I have the 7th off work but not the 6th lmao

This is great news. Just what I needed after Fury-Usyk garbage and on the back of some great MMA lately. Yes, Fulton deserves a tremendous amount of respect here as losing his unified title would set him back somewhat (belts are more significant and attached to star power below 135 imho), but at the same time... Cool Boy isn't dumb. He's seen something in Inoue. Can't wait

Yeah, fair play to the lad, it's a long way to go for a beating.

Seriously though, you can't admire him enough. It's a brave bid for pound-for-pound status and i'm sure a nice purse to go with it.

Extremely bias ? Japan is one of the fairest countries for foreign fighters to fight. Yes Inoue has home advantage but its not like Japan is Argentina or Thailand. Fulton will be treated fairly as it was the case with others before him.

As for Inoue having his last three fights in Japan what difference did it make ? Its not like he would lose those fights had they been on another country.

You are way overreacting this fighting in Japan thing.

Rare especially now where a fighter actually backs up his talk with actions. The Monster could knock him out in one round and I would still respect Fulton because instead of trying to play it safe he is risking it all in an attempt to be great. Boxing needs more boxers like Fulton.

Japanese have special thing for home fights, way more than mexicans, europeans.

I just need a fair fight, I feel Fulton outboxing him early and judges still giving Inoue these rounds.

Well, Inoue came to his weight class... that's the real concession in this story

Once you agree to defend your belt against The Monster you know you're going to Japan, he's the massive draw here

If Stephen Fulton wins this fight then the sky is the limit because he's got the best thing a boxer can have -- OPTIONS
Featherweight (assuming he moves up there) has Figueroa, Robeisy Ramirez, Lara, Michael Conlan , etc.
