Briggs did the same thing....only he lasted the distance and took even MORE of a beating.

Good post Jack, absolutely agree. I wish all K2's other opponents had that much desire and want to.

Respect to Adamek for at least trying. He seemed to have better balance than usual, but fighting the worst fight you could possibly fight with a Klitschko, trying to box him at a distance thats a cardinal sin. I dud like Gorals jab to the body, but never followed it with anything, hardly threw combinations. Oh well, at least he didnt chickendance like Haye did. Respect for Vitali too still prescribing ass kickins at 40!

Adamek did not quit on his stol without injury. He did his best which wasn't nearly good enough. But, I agree, respect for Adamek for taking his beating like a warrior.

I felt sorry for Adamek, Vitali is too tall and too strong. Bad strategy to box with a fighter who's reach is superior, and has a very fast jab. Adamek made the same mistake as most opponents.....getting into the ring with Dr Ironfist....lol.....

    this is true

But vitali does this all the time, when opponent has zero chance

in the end it wont hurt his standing as a fighter

but as an exciting HW it does hurt

there is no highlight or surprise KO

    It;s just a fact

    he fights intelligent

    fans want more

can he be beaten ? not by anyone I see including his brother

    hope that helped:good

All credit to Adamek. He should be proud that he never quit and kept going. Nothing but respect for the man.

Only a complete imbecile would bad mouth Adamek.

this fight honestly shouldnt have even happened.

not taking anythign away from vitali, he is a true champ. but these guys dont belong in the same division together. size difference was just too much for tomaz to overcome.

i definently give adamek respect and think he deserves it. you could see tonight he authentically did what he could but couldnt find anything that worked. against the much larger opponent. props for trying. more fighters like him are what this sport needs.
