I agree IB, Purdy is strong and punches well. Still developing but i think he had a bad night against Lynes. Got a little caught up in the puncher mindset but i think a rematch he'd be more thoughtful and perform better. Lynes was also very good that night..

Good solid win, 10 days notice and he took the chance and it paid off..

 

No slight on Purdy, but if he's got any ambition of doing anything then walking through that no mark is a given, 10 days notice or not.

Mate you're making yourself look like a bit of a dick. I haven't seen this lad fight so I'm not commenting on that, but IB is a yank. He is not some Brit bumming Purdy due to bias, he is an American who follows boxing to such an extent that he genuinely gives a **** about fights all over the world.

To dismiss what he's saying as him "sucking dick" as if he gives a **** about Purdy is stupid.

I don't doubt IB know his ****, but that Argie has fought absolutely nobody. If Purdy has any ambition whatsoever then beating guys of that level is a given.

 

Yep, i know little about Gumer and havent looked at his record yet TBH.
But i could hear the thudding sounds when his shots landed..

Good win for Purdy.. A bit of a plodder at times but has a lot of heart, a good dig and a granite chin by the look of it.
