Masterclass By Adamek. Shame on HBO For Hyping Arreola

It was in reality a 10-2/11-1 type of scorecard. Harold Leaderman is an old kook obviously biased towards the American fighter. The punch-stats were bull****. Adamek was busting Arreola up.

Arreola is one tough SOB. I don't care about how he doesn't get his weight down. He is one tough SOB and can take a punch. Lots of guts, as it seems he hurt his hand or bicep and kept fighting with guts.

Adamek looks much better at this weight. He punches hard, sharp, and very fast with solid combinations. I'm a fan, and he has one heck of a chin too. Arreola isn't a power puncher but he was putting 250 pounds force into Adamek without Adamek flinching. Adamek has a terrific chin.

Adamek has a weakness with balance but I honestly think he has a chance against the Klitskco's. He can't box them, he has to brawl them and take it to the trenches. Go on the inside and force a fight where he can unleash a lot of short quick punches. He has one hell of a chin to do it. You need speed and power. Adamek can hit good, but he has real nice speed and a chin to take punishment. I think he has a chance against either Klitscko, and I might actually favor him against Haye.

Props to both fighters. Arreola is just one tough SOB. He needs to be more disciplined. Nice that he gave his props to Adamek. I'm glad he didn't say he ran since his face is busted up from all those shots. Adamek is for real. This isn't overhyping him. I'm not favoring him against the Klits but giving him a good chance. His stamina looked much better here too. A good weight for him. I think he has a better chance against Vitali. Arreola is hilarious in the post-fight conference.

Holy ****. What an entertaining Heavyweight fight. We haven't seen that in awhile. Arreola gave it a great effort. Maybe he won 3 rounds, but those cards were bad and at least he admitted he lost. HBO seemed to think he did too, but I felt they were hyping their fighter in a fight at which place he was never ever close to winning or being ahead on the cards. Great fight.

 

Well I honestly didn't do a round by round. I was so sick of HBO's biased-ness that I think I went the other way. I think 10-2 isn't too much because Arreola was landing shots but Adamek was having more balance issues. In the end he was busting up Arreola and out-landed almost every land.

I'll concede a 9-3 decision seems fair. But he controlled and pretty much dominated Arreola. Arreola had moments and got the crowd into though. And made for a great scrap.

Harold's scorecard was awful. When I hear Adamek ran and it was a draw type fight I just can't believe it. Adamek busted Arreola up bad. Just because Arreola can take great punches doesn't and fight back moving forward doesn't mean he's won the round.

Honestly, he was off-balanced a lot. He had a friggen shoe issue. And he was getting off-balance a lot. He wasn't ever genuinely hurt I don't think. Lennox saw this too.
