Don't see him beating Opetaia, but I reckon he beats Billam Smith

 

Zurdo did what he had to do against a tough unbeaten proven cruiser. He’s got the height, range, decent enough power, inside and outside game. I think he can unify the Cruiser division over the next year or so. Zurdo vs Briedis after Briedis takes care of Opetaia will be the one!

 

I have no idea what you guys see in Zurdo. Opetaia destroys him. Opetaia will beat Briedis again.

Are we talking about the same fighters? Zurdo in 2 fights at Cruiser has beaten more names (Joe Smith and Arsen Goulamirian) than Opetaia in his whole career. The one time Jai stepped up his jaw got shattered. Let’s just pump the breaks on him yeah.

Damn, that 0 on his record is mystery. It´s almost as if he hasn´t been KO´d or even lost a fight.
But he fought Briedis...and got his glass jaw broken. Yet he walked away without a loss. How can that be?

He's made history twice. First Mexican to win belts at 168 and 200lb.
People always dismiss him but the guy is 46-1 and a 2 Division Champion. He's a good fighter and "technically", seemed at his best last night.

The Joe Smith win was nothing great. Smith lost to anyone of note at light heavy. Golden boy drag him up knowing Smith would do it for a payday. The same Smith coming off a brutal KO loss. The same Smith that wasn't fighting at cruiser. So keep telling yourself the Smith win was good win.
