Had to post this as I found it really insightful showing me things i had not noticed even on 3rd viewing. It's a day old so apologies if this has been linked already.

I recommend watching it all if you are interested in these types of things. The vid analysis starts from 13th minute. Hope you enjoy it as much as i did.

I got some analysis for you. He's six foot nine.

His boxing skills are overblown. They are adequate, but are nothing special. He was however, quite a bit better at boxing than Wilder who's skills are mediocre to dismal. The fact that Fury could box a little bit to Wilder's not at all was a distinct advantage comparable to his massive height, reach, and weight.

Cool video but this comes down to one simple thing. Footwork!!! DW footwork is absolutely HORRENDOUS!!! Fury constantly kept him off balance, DW feet were constantly crossing and constantly has to reset every time he does anything. Throws a punch, off balance. Slips a punch, off balance. Blocks a punch, off balance. Takes a punch, off balance. Hes never in position to throw more than one punch with balance so he cant follow up. Re watch the fight and ignore everything else and watch the feet of both fighters. Its like watching a dance off between Fred Astaire and Butterbean.

You realize Wilder and Fury are an inch apart? Fury isn't even 6'9. He's like 6'7 1/2 and Wilder is 6'6 1/2. He didn't have any significant advantage whatsoever on Wilder. He was 273 with a lot of flab, not solid bone and muscle. That is usually never an advantage. It's only being talked about as an advantage because he dominated him so badly. Had he been KO'd it would have been "oh he was fat and slow.".

I really enjoyed the technical side of the video. I love boxing but i'll be honest, I have never personally set foot in a boxing gym let alone a ring. Happy to concede a lot of the technical nuances can pass me by so analysis like this is really insightful.

Right. That's the only reason Wilder was successful so long even with his marginal opposition. You can't teach someone to be six foot seven or six foot nine. Their boxing skill or lack thereof has nothing to do with their success.

Misplaced the word solid? Talk about low standards to laugh that hard at that.

I like how you just pull measurements out of your ass and act like it's fact. Here's a measurement for you, Fury is 40 pounds heavier than Wilder and about twice as wide with a 3 inch reach advantage. Hardto beat a man that much bigger than you when he's also the superior technician. You should be giving credit to Wilder for standing in there and taking such a vicious beating against the best heavyweight in the world like a man instead of trying to trash him

Exactly like that! Thats why some idiots on here gave him praise for "outboxing" or should I say 'outranging' 6 feet 1 inch Stiverne in their first fight...

Wilder's entire resume is based on either short fighters with/or without some feet or tall fighters lacking footspeed (breazeale, Duhaupas etc)

And yes I underrated Wilder a bit but i have Always asked for tall and fast HW's to outbox him.

Its easy to look good against a small and short plodder like Bermane Stiverne...

I remember when you said it was ok for Wilder to be given time vs Ortiz but were outraged at the time Reese gave Fury and thought Wilder won by KO. Now you want to act like the discrepancy in size was otherworldly. Fury packed a bunch of fat on while Wilder put on solid muscle. I've seen far worse, this is the heavyweight division. This isn't new. Am I supposed to feel sorry for Wilder? I've given him his due for taking the beating. Maybe you should stop crying.

As for the heights, simple, boxers are rarely officially measured and almost everyone lies about their height. I've seen Fury and Wilder in pics with athletes that have been officially measured, like NBA players (combine). I put 2 and 2 together. It's not hard bud. These guys it take to another level https://www.celebheights.com/s/Tyson-Fury-49113.html

All the good will and respect Wilder earned Saturday night was thrown straight in the garbage with his cosplay excuse. It’s laughable, absurd, embarrassing and just plain stupid. He’ll never live it down.
