Masterful HOPKINS stuns PAVLIK - Poll results & photos & post-fight video

I predict that it will be a KO for Pavlik or Decision for BH. If BH cheats, headbutts, and grabs a lot then it will be boring as hell and he can win on points. If Pavlik gets to throw some leather on him, then I think he will KO the old man.

I had a dream the other night that Pavlik KO'd Hopkins at the stare down while the ref was giving the instructions. Hopkins went down and the ref put him on a count and he didn't get up.

So I'm going to go with this, PAVLIK KO 1.

This fight will be dirty by both fighters. I see Hopkins instigating, but Pavlik surprisingly retaliating with some rabbit punches in the clinch. Pavlik by scores of 116-112, 116-113, 115-113.

Pavlik will be made to look bad at times, but surprisingly capable on the inside, which we haven't really seen before. Similar to Hopkins two fights with Taylor, he will stifle most of Pavliks offense, but not land much himself and lose a relatively boring fight, with moments of intrigue of inside fighting.

 

I will go way out on a limb ans say Pavlik gets the TKO. He just throws too many quality punches.

I think Hopkins is too good and experienced to get knocked out or stopped, but doesn't have enough left for Pavlik. I wouldn't be shocked to see Pavlik stop him late, though. Also wouldn't be shocked to see B-Hop win by dec.
