And see who you come up with. Say a little about why you think the fighter you picked has the best chance out of the guys in that weight class and how you see it turning out! Just miss out anyone you're not comfortable with.

    Heavyweight..............Evander Holyfield

    175-200....................Archie Moore

    Welterweight..............Sugar Ray Robinson

    Lightweight................Ken Buchanan

    Junior Featherweight....Erik Morales

    Flyweight....................Yuri Arbachakov

Buchanan would beat any of the LW's today, including Marquez IMO

Yeah, there's really not much is there? I only put him in there to have a chance to say how great he is. He's great.

    Hush, pet.

Haye is at HW now, of course.

But you are right, it would be fun! Who you got?

Although he's not a lightweight (and might not ever fight at 135 again) I'd love to have seen Pacquiao-Buchanan.
Ken had a terrific jab and that, along with his counter-punching ability would give Pacquiao a lot of trouble.
The reason I would pick Ken to win though, is that when the going got tough he could also be aggressive and force the fight if he had to.
I think he could out-box Manny from the outside and hold his own when Pac gets past his jab and lets loose.
    Buchanan by decision.

I think Pac would get thrashed by Ken, partly for the reasons you've lain out.

nice to see how juanma reacts from a fighter that know how to dominate a fight with his jab in a devastating fashion

Yeah, I could see Morales dominating that one with boxing, but it could get interesting!

    I'm not picking winner's...just a good fight.

    Heavyweight..............Evander Holyfield Vs. Sasquatch Valuev
(So a prime Holy can rip 'Em)

    175-200....................Archie Moore Vs. Chad Dawson
(Since Chad had trouble with Johnson, let's see how he does with this gentleman)

Welterweight..............Sugar Ray Robinson Vs. Sugar Shane Mosley
(This would be a throwback fight, Toe 2 Toe)

    Lightweight................Ken Buchanan Vs. Amir Khan
(For my UK peep's, I don't think they mind seeing another K.O.)

Junior Featherweight....Erik Morales vs. Israel Vasquez/Rafa Marquez
    (Why not, It's guranteed classic)

    Flyweight....................Yuri Arbachakov Vs. Michael Carbajal
(Tho little hands of stone was best at Jr. Fly, why not...)

I think I'll go with Vitali-Holyfield for the Heavyweight fight.
Whatever you think about the Klitschko brothers, Vitali isn't an easy nights work for any Heavyweight in history.
Vitali has an awkward-but-effective style and I can certainly see him landing a lot on Evander, who's defence was never that great.
I think Holy would have to come in with a strategy, like he did in the second Bowe fight, instead of just crawling with the bigger, stronger man.
If he uses intelligent movement and gets out of range after throwing his flurries, I think he can take this one by decision.
Evander's got the heart to stay in there even when it gets really rough, which it will do more than once.
