This is not to be taken too seriously. It's an endeavor for entertainment purposes.

Who has the stylistic advantage, who would win the fight and how? That is the question here.

    Rules are:

    1) Competitors meet at roughly the weight in the middle between them. So Manny Pacquiao versus Wladimir Klitschko is held at roughly super middleweight, while Roy Jones jr fights Leonard at 154 pounds or so.

    2) The competitors have roughly the same dimensions and attributes as they had in their ideal weightclass. So Monzon is the taller fighter when he fights Mike Tyson.

Man, I could make a heck of a message board game out of this where the posters use an auction system to bid eachother on fighters, make a stable of four boxers, compete in matches against one another and may argue in favor of their fighters to win votes. I've done that format before, it's a heck of a lot of fun, but so time-consuming.

    Anyway, let's start off with...

George Foreman vs Marco Antonio Barrera, at super middleweight. Who do you vote for?

When you've voted, you can suggest your own.

    It's a toughie:lol:

I'll go out and a limb and say Arguello has a bit too much, late stoppage for him.

Foreman to take out MAB as well, don't think he'd deal with the power!

    Arguello - Marciano

I think Arguello sparks him late. Such hard shots down the pipe, with a reach advantage that's considerable.

    Morales v Benn

I think Morales chin' holds up. He grinds out a hard-won UD, eating hard shots all night in the process.

    Nigel Benn vs Joe Frazier

Joe is hitting the canvas early. I still think Joe is the classier operator, and I don't think Benn was a good enough finisher to end it early. Frazier gets off the canvas to win.

    Ricardo Lopez vs SNV

Jesus Christ that's awkward. I'd bank on Lopez winning a cautious, dull UD against the lumbering oaf.

Remember, when you want to post your own, do the courtesy of voting on the match before yours!

Dwight Muhammad Qawi vs Naseem Hamed

(First wanted Manny, but he's taller than Qawi)

Qawi was a beast, so I think he wins.
If it is held at heavyweight, Hamed beats him at an eating contest

I think that a Marciano-typefighter plays into Arguello's hands but that Alexis didn't beat anyone as good at implementing that with that kinda' dig. Interesting.
