Golovkin / Ward might have gone down. The fundamental point being that Ward couldn't draw flies to **** and he wanted to be paid like he was an equal superstar like Golovkin. With enough money that point would have been moot and I think we may have seen it.

 

Roy would've dog-walked him and added a great deal of historical significance to his résumé.

Realistically tho, despite the fight not taking place, we all knew who was the man of the division.
