A lot of people often talk about whether or not Mayweaher could have stayed undefeated if he fought during the fab 4 period. Well I don't think you have to go that far back to find an era that would leave Mayweather with at least one loss on his record. I contend that if Mayweather was fighting at the weight classes he fights in now (ww and JMW) he would definitely have lost one fight if he competed in those classes from 1998 - 2003. Here is a list of fighters who competed in those weight classes during that time and who were still relatively prime. 1)De La Hoya 2)Trinidad 3)Shane Mosley 4)Fernando Vargas 5)Ike Quartey 6)Vernon Forrest 7)Winky Wright 8)Antonio Margarito There's no doubt in my mind if he fought during this time jumping back and forth between WW and JMW the way he does, he would definitely have a loss or two on his record.
Previous fights? I want to see Void fight within this time period vs. Pac, as most fans do..............
Like a loss or two hurts his legacy? He might well have a loss, or he could be undefeated. No doubt in YOUR mind is not the same as it how it actually plays out. Of that list I see three who have a higher chance of success---DLH, Trinidad, Wright. Margarito definitely aint beating him, get that bum off the list. Others would be tough, but I think clear wins for Mayweather. Again, my opinion is worth no more than yours.
De la hoya, mosley, wright, forrest could win against floyd.definetly would favor floyd over trininad, quartey, vargas. And what the hell margarito is doing there?margarito was in bum tour most of his career, and in that time frame was also relatively unknown..floyd would school margo 119-109 and it's not even debatable.no footwork,no defence,no ring iq,no chance in hell beating floyd.
