i think you are right...khan brook should not happen next

khan needs another fight in between to test out his hand and inside boxing skills with joe goossen

khan need to fight somoene like a broner, vargas or porter

then brook fight at CW of 149

if no brook then bring on SPENCER (froch accent)

lets be real here Khan has been having warm up fights ever since Danny Garcia battered him in 2012. How many warm up fights does he need!

This. With a mega-fight a bit of build can be a good thing.

Khan-Brook isn't a mega-fight; it's a last-chance saloon grudge fight. The appeal isn't in the fight being in any way meaningful on a global scale. It's about two guys who don't like each other squaring off, and consigning the loser to the dustbin. The boxing equivalent of a loser leaves town wrestling match.

Building them up against other opponents completely misses the point of why the fight would be appealing in the first place. It doesn't do anything to fuel the fire, and may actually detract from the spectacle by creating the impression that either guy has a viable alternative route. People are already talking about Khan fighting Broner, Crawford or whoever, when it's should all be about Brook.

Stick them in the ring with each other, and I'll buy it along with a lot of other people. Or on the other hand, accept that Khan doesn't want the fight and go in different directions. The idea of a slow build for a fight that should have happened years ago does nothing for me though.

you think in those 40 seconds we got to see how his new hand is, inside fighting improvements with joe goossen, and any chin checks?

No I don't when he could have answered all the above Saturday
1 fight down two to go
Khan milking eddie at Brooks expense
Ain't that what my sarcastic post implied

It's so obvious Khan doesn't want any part of Brook.

It's his biggest best paid fight that he will get the bigger %.

I believe he had a problem with hand during fight. Not a good sign if it's like that in a second blowout.

Khan is finished at world level. All the top 147ers smash that glass all over the ring. Fight Brook earn shedloads of money then call it a day

This fight has now become a carbon copy of Haye v Bellew..

2 fighters past their best with zero chance of a belt somehow creating a big Matchroom PPV for casuals to be fleeced for....

Why should any fight that involves no belt be a PPV i have no idea

PS anyone buying Haye v Bellew must be either rich or ******ed

As i keep banging on ,Matchroom are great at building a fighter, pushing them into a title position but awful at matchmaking to improve a boxer so when he gets there he is ready to take and retain belt...

there are dozens of examples of this

Get Khan another tune up and just get on with Khan vs Brook before they both lose! They have been around for years FFS, we know whats on the tin. Doesnt need building up. just get on with it.
