So rumours were true Eddie Hearn has signed a $1 billion deal with DAZN.

8 year deal, 16 fights per year, so that's about $7.8 mill he's getting for each fight over the 8 years, not including any endorsement deals and live gate receipts.

Hearn to assemble a the biggest stable of US fighters ever, consisting of the best US fighers available.

At the end of June will reveal a stable of 30 fighters he has signed

Yeah it's a lot of money to front up and it's a long commitment. But all they need is one fighter to become as popular as Mayweather over the next decade and have a couple of huge fights like Mayweather/Pac and Mayweather/McGregor and they break even.

Not sure how successful this will be, DAZN doesn't have the reach that other streaming services or the world wide audience base as it's limited to a few countries so far. But if this does pan out I expect some bigger company to swoop in and buy them out.

The biggest task for them in America is to get non boxing fans subscribers. They will need to get the rights for US sports but that won't be easy when they all have their own streaming networks

So which fighters do we think he could get?

I think his defiently spoken to Spence, Thurman, and the Charlo twins.

Dentoy Wilder should seriously be looking at this and wondering whether going with Matchroom would be better for his career.

If Gervonta wants out of Mayweather promotions Hearn should snap him up

A good question. The Wildettes were only just saying how Uncle Al was the alpha and omega of boxing recently and this looks like shaking up the order massively.

It would make much more sense for Wilder to sign with Hearn if he can secure the Joshua fight on good terms as a part of that deal. Even if he loses to Joshua, Hearn could give him another solid payday vs Whyte, throw him in with Bellew as well. He could get some nice paydays on this side of the pond like Golovkin and Spence did, instead of being stuck on PBC or Showtime and getting peanuts.
