You know what's going to be great. Hearn could really stage shows like UFC. Basically cards stacked from top to bottom

Wait, isn't this bad news? Hearn's gonna want Spence and the Charlos to all remain undefeated for as long as possible so that DAZN can have marquee stars around for awhile...

When you consider Wilder's biggest payday is $2.1 mill vs Ortiz and Ortiz got $500K and this deals secures Hearn about $7.8 mill per fight, he could literally double Wilder's highest payday and still have almost $3 mill left to pay his opponent and the under card. Wilder could be making $4-5 mill per fight with Hearn, not to mention what he'd get from UK revenue should he fight Whyte, Joshua or Bellew in the UK.

Wonder where this leaves Bellew in terms of options?

Noted how I explained the importance of attracting more than just the 50+ age group?

Hearn's taken that on board with this deal.....

I mean the guys live streaming interviews as we speak....

The sport is 'evolving' thanks to Eddie.

I have a feeling this is going to bomb, you can't sell a product in the USA without any american stars.

    Even more surely?

Hearn could sign Usky/Gassiev now couldn't he?

    Promote them in the US?

    Jacobs?
    Charlo's?
    Spence?
    Wilder?

He can offer them $7 million + Per fight......

Haymon/Goldenboy/Top Rank etc cannot do that.

Not to mention the biggest stars in the US are not American lol.

    (Canelo + GGG).

    This is hilarious actually

WME buy the UFC for a ridiculous price and now can't afford to expand......Sport looking on its death bed

Boxing just gets a massive 1 billion $$$$ injection, AJ vs Wilder mega pay day looming, AJ vs Fury is huge
Canelo is a rock star too

WBSS getting traction, Haymon still a big player too

Boxing is looking stronger than it has in recent memory (apart from corruption in the pro's but particularly in amateur game which could be thrown out of the olympics)

Hearn won't pay stupid purses. He will pay more but his clever and won't allow the business to bleed money like PBC boxing.

Its also the right time to get guy's like Spence and the charlos who all have the potential to be great ppv fighters who currently are not getting paid a great deal, Offer them a deal they can't refuse now and in time they could be very good investments, Hes also just said he wants to sign mikey garcia on esnews lol..

With the money he has in place he can get some decent names. He's clearly going to go for Broner who regular does good numbers on Showtime.

The deal is also for 8 years and he's mentioned a cradle to grave approach. He's going to sign up a lot of young prospects and hope to grow them into stars over time.

If he can actually sign up a good stable of US fighters from all levels from prospects to champions then hopefully we'll see some stacked cards. 16 fights per year is a lot, that's more than 1 a month, he's going to have to sign a lot of fighters to fill these dates.

I also see why Hearn has been pushing for Joshua/Miller. It didn't seem feasible after Povetkin was named mandatory but building the idea of Joshua/Miller now helps sell it later on when it does happen and when it does happen it will likely secure a lot of new subscribers for DAZN who will then have access to Hearn's other cards in the US.
