I know I shouldn't extrapolate an outcome of a prime match-up based on what I'm watching...But I do kind of think we'd be watching something similar to what we saw in the first four rounds.

    Round 4

Ríos is starting to catch Soto against the ropes with some lunging 1-2s and whipping roundabout low rights on the hip line, but Soto is able to roll with most of the head shots and counter off the ropes. Soto covering up when Ríos tries uppercutting in bunches on the inside, taking advantage of the horrendously poor hand speed Ríos is demonstrating, stepping clear and banging his skull with both hands from a variety of different angles.

    10-9 Soto

    40-36 Soto

    4-1 Soto.

Rios took the 5th. Soto might be gassing, he is 40 after all.

Soto does seem to be gassing a bit, his output has slowed tremendously

    Round 5

Ríos is pressuring, keeping his gloves in Soto's face no matter what is being thrown his way, doing the Brandon Ríos thing, brushing each in turn against Soto's face. Soto is still able to soften the blows from Ríos by turning his cheeks with them and getting his own fists in the way like chaff, and is countering wherever he sees an opening, and jabbing in between during the lulls when Ríos is collecting his energy. Soto has a strong final half-minute, landing several unanswered straight flurries as Ríos pursues him.

10-9 Soto, but very close, first one I'd say that about, could see 10-10 or even awarding it to Ríos

    50-45 Soto
