    5-1 Soto.

Close 6th. Rios' is throwing more volume but Soto's shots are more effective.

    Round 6

Ríos is shouldering his way in low and thumping on the sides with roundhouse underhanded rights. Soto is fending him off with straight flurries, sometimes punctuated by hooks, and two-handed shove-offs. Ríos keeps up the pincer attack with fat looping body shots on either side, as Soto continues to batter his face or tie him up. Soto leaning against the ropes and catching Ríos with uppercuts on the way in down the stretch.

    10-9 Soto, close again

    60-54 Soto

Soto is fading but I haven't seen Rios wobble or hurt him.

    Round 7

Ríos is roping out body shots and leaning in to flip uppercuts into the slack-gaping mouth. Soto is leaning backward into the ropes, attempting to slip Ríos' jabs, but the body is unwilling to cooperate with the mind's ideas of slickness, and he's still getting hit despite his squirmy maneuvers. Soto countering well, but getting his strength drained as Ríos leans into him, grinding, and keeps slapping the body, over and over. Nice 1-2 by Soto before the bell.

    10-9 Ríos

    69-64 Soto

    5-2 Soto

Another close one, I think Rios nicked it on activity.

Commentators on Sky don't provide an unofficial scorecard graphic but verbally say they feel it ought to be 4-3 either way after 7.
