They should knock it on the head tbh. It will inevitably harm their great relationship with Sauerland

Judging by the latest Sauerland show ending up on Boxnation, it already has.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Sauerland are involved somehow. Obviously they have got WBSS to sort out still. I think Hearns probably going to launch it this year and is either waiting for a big signing over there or more likely doesn’t want to enter too many new markets quickly without having the right staff.

Hopefully they’ve knocked it on the head. The Italian card was complete dross and this would be more of the same.

No way their going to drop out. The rights fees from DAZN alone is making these shows worth their while. If they find a gem of a fighter in the meantime its worth it all.

Maybe this is why he's talking to Wlad?

It's not for the uk market but growing a market in a smaller boxing nation. No point having great fights if nobody there cares

Think of how Netflix works. They started out buying in, at great cost, big name tv shows that encouraged subscribers. These days much of the new stuff on there has been produced or co produced by Netflix themselves. They can publish this content on their worldwide platform without worrying g about rights payments to third parties.

These cards will help shore their offering up in European territories whilst providing additional original content at relatively little cost to their Other territories.

Germany is a strange market to get into right now. They have no notable fighters right now and have very few prospects of any decent standard coming up. This is the weakest the German scene has been for quite some time. The fact that Braehmer, Abraham are still the biggest names in Germany says a lot.

Exactly that DAZN will be crying out for content in each market.
