Simon Jordan yesterday cut through the career of Tony Dosh PPV and his manufactured persona basically stating what most with boxing knowledge have known for years.

Before he opened his mouth, I can almost read out word for word what Bellew was about to say today.

Calling Jordan a few names, criticised his knowledge of boxing and his meltdown was comical to listen to.

I'm on Bellew's side for the first time ever. Jordan is a casual through and through, he knows nothing.

Bellew is so insecure. He left a voicemail for somebody on the boxing Asylum explaining how much he doest care about what they say haha.

He has followed boxing for years and had the bottle to tell Chisora to his face that he did not enjoy his fights and he loses every time he steps up for a real challenge. Steam was coming out the War Chisora ears that day. Calls it as he sees it although his manner is a bit harsh at times.

He is spot on about Joshua's record with the very poor quality of opponents, spot on about his manufactured persona and spot on about his ability nowhere near his level of delusion.

Matchroom have basically sold him to the public as the modern day Muhammed Ali when he was really not much better than a prime Danny Williams. Jordan is right and the Sky PPV Mugths have now seen it at last.

Better than listening to Mathew Macklin, Toe Haye and Tony Bellew - all dishonest following the party script.

At least he gives his own opinion.

Simon Jordan is a boxing guru in mainstream radio terms. Clearly a fan of the sport.

Jordan is a bog standard Fury fan. He's also said this week Fury would beat Joshua and Usyk on the same day. I would bet that like most Fury fans he hasn't seen the McDermott, Pajkic, and Cunningham fights. He's seen Fury beat "the biggest puncher ever" and he's fallen completely in love. Lets see him go through Fury and WIlder's records and see what he makes of them. If someone wants to talk about poor opponents and manufactured records, lets talk about Pianeta, Seferi, Schwarz etc. You will never see him do that.

Correct. Jordan is a rabble rouser paid to cause arguments on talk radio. He's also an intelligent businessman with a disdain for thick sports stars and clearly knows how to push their buttons.

Such a poor post. So poor.

    1) Do you take everything so literally?
    2) What relevance do 9-12 year old fights have?
    3) Bringing up comeback fights after he was 3 years out of the ring, ballooned up 10 stones and all of the rest of it. He literally got in the ring with Wilder after 6 months! Everybody was saying "it's too early".

Is that really the best you can do?

How about buying a belt off Charles Martin, who'd never have had it had Fury not vacated/been stripped and Glazkov suffered a career ending knee injury? How about facing Dominic Breazeale and Eric Molina as consecutive title defences? How about facing Carlos Takam, whose best win by some distance was a 41/42 year old Tony Thompson, who then got sparked by ... Dereck Chisora (who Fury has schooled twice - much younger version)? How about having an absolute stinker of epic proportions with Joey Twelve Parker, where neither man landed a glove on the other? How about facing a 39 year old Kubrat Pulev who was absolutely crap 6 years prior? And of course, how about being absolutely whooped by a man who could not even tickle Liakhovich, who, at that time, was one of the most vulnerable looking boxers to ever set foot in a ring?

You've been duped. You've been following the Matchroom script for a decade and have now come unstuck, and you don't like it.

Agree with that but Hearn sells Joshua's record like he has knocked out a prime Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, George Foreman, Vitali Klitschko etc when the reality is he got stopped by Butterbean's little bro.

It is the lies, spin and false narrative that is hard to stomach.

    1) Of course I don't take everything literally, but if someone is going to make overtly disrespectful statements about a boxer like Usyk then they're going in the casual bucket.

    2) Because I see a fighters whole career as relevant, especially if you're looking to dig into the credibility of their record. The Cunningham fight is also the most relevant fight in regards to looking at how he fares against Usyk, it's certainly more interesting than the Wilder fight.

    3) So you have an excuse for Pianeta and Seferi, do you have an excuse for Schwarz or Wallin? Or trying to make an offer to Chisora, a guy I haven't seen win in years? Fury has fought Klitschko and Wilder in a 14 year career, yet we're supposed to see him as a dominant heavyweight champion.

Also you are mistaking me for a Joshua/Matchroom fan for some reason, you can look at my history, that's never been the case. My position has been that the Joshua/Wilder/Fury era has been hyped up beyond belief because they have the right nationalities, but my opinion is that they're all riddled with flaws and shouldn't even be compared to past champions like Lewis. I also said a long time ago that Usyk cleans the division out, his level of technical ability is way beyond everyone else currently out there, and I'm as confident as ever in that opinion.

Jordan is definitely a casual but I'd rather listen to him talk about boxing for 1 hour than listen to Tony the tosser for 1 minute. The trouble with people like Bellew is they're too busy kissing arses and sucking up to their mates to offer anything that resembles interesting or worthwhile analysis.

Simon Jordan is good value on a lot of topics because he understands how to remain impartial. The likes of Bellew literally cry when their mates lose a fight lmao.
