For Simon Jordan to try and claim AJ managed to make himself cry was pretty damn stupid.

 

I think some of that is an age thing. I bet he’d be far more respectful to Barry Hearn than Eddie.

Simon Jordan is pretty old school like that.

 

People are so sensitive these days, and often very hypocritical. Men who feel that Simon Jordan's general disposition is impolite need to straighten themselves out a bit. Being blunt is not unacceptable. I'd rather have somebody who's straight to the point and not false, than someone like Laura Woods who is as fake as they come and just says everything for the pay cheque. Simon Jordan is a decent guy.

Since when did correcting someone equate to throwing a hissy fit? It was the other user who tried to channel linguistic anthropology in their justification of their illiteracy.

Bellew is a bit of a DAZN merchant but respect to him, man is a former WBC champ who knows boxing. **** Simon Jordan, on his high horse.

 

There's being honest and blunt in your view (Roy Keane as a pundit for example) then there's being attention seeking, agenda filled intentionally antagonistic like Piers Morgan.

Talkshite have a few wind up merchants that show their lack of knowledge of sport and intentionally goad controversial or OTT neagative criticisms.

Jordan is another Piers Morgan in this way and displays that his that he agenda filled and displayed his lack knowledge of all sports.

Dunham - made a career of constantly baiting of Arsenal fans because they have the most online presence (he even wrote a book how the invincibles were overrated).

O'Hara - Constantly shown up by Woodsy for his lack of knowledge, who regularly owns him in debates.

Glad to see Bellew show Jordan up.

 

Bellew said Chisora beat Usyk so he's lost all boxing credibility.

 

'Woodsy' was reading the DAZN script. O'Hara was spot on re: Joshua and the top level and that Wilder would knock Joshua's head off his shoulders.

 

I was referring to football debates between Woodsy and O'Hara.

I Wish Wilder's team had the confidence you and O'Hara had in him instead of ducking offer after offer for years. Whilst AJ went to beat most of top HWs in divison whilst Wilder has only ever beaten low level guys and failed to even attempt to unify the divison.

 

Bellew absolutely did not "show Jordan up" and I think you'd have to be either ridiculously biased or intellectually challenged to see otherwise.

I listened to the whole thing this morning, Jordan is obviously antagonistic but I think it's very difficult to disagree with much of it if anyone's being honest about it. Bellew just comes across as reactionary, emotional and silly.

 

Company gets paid to help a promotion, what a shock that is. Can't imagine any promotional company have ever done that ever.

It's how things work. You're a grown man you should surley understand all this by now or are you one of those weirdos who see everthing as a matchroom conspiracy/agenda?

 

Well yes of course. If you are happy to consume a media product whilst having awareness of what you consume that's great, but arguing that Talk Sport is some neutral voice in boxing, is not so great. They propagandize their audience just as much as IFL do.

Now you can say Talk Sport take everyone's money and put out a lot of paid-for-segments, but is that an argument for neutrality or just marking them as a product to be extremely wary of?

As to my agenda? I'm not sure pointing out any of this makes me a matchroom shill.
