If genuine, this is desperately insecure. If he didn't care about what they say about him, he wouldn't be taking the time to leave a voicemail articulating those particular views.

'The Best Of Chums' would be a wonderful title for a movie documentary about Matchroom Boxing. :sisi1

I love that podcast but I'm not surprised he left that Voicemail. They rib the hell out of him. They have a segment called Bellew of the Week where the stupidest boxing related comments get analysed and a winner decided. Last week AJ 'won'

It’s embarrassing really. I wonder what Joshua makes of it?

It goes beyond a bit of pro-Matchroom bias in my opinion - just comes off as strange.

He’d be far better being objective about it. All this ‘bigger draw’ stuff is irrelevant given the way the belts are distributed right now. 60/40 is a fair split - even @Mitch87 agrees ffs !

60/40 is fair, but remember that Joshua offered Fury 60/40 too when Fury had no belts which Fury declined.

Umar IFL suggesting December 17th is the date and it’s just broadcasting stuff to sort.

That’s according to Hearn, Warren said there was no such 60/40 offer - two hugely non-biased sources so very difficult to know what really went on there.

Dell Boy Joshua should grab the 60/40 offer or become Chicken Josh forever.

What has he got to lose?

Certainly does not need to earn any more money having racked up a fortune closer to £1b than £100m.
He has lost all his belts.
His fake Matchroom FC created Humble Persona has been rumbled.
His legacy has already been cemented in the ring on 1 June 2019 The Big Apple Crumble and The Tumble of the Humble on 20 August 2022.
    He has been totally humiliated.

Now he gets a great opportunity to beat the living legend known as The Gypsy King to gain some redemption. One punch is all it takes in the Heavyweight division and Fury can be hit.

A fighting man would jump at this great opportunity and make this fight happen.

Agree. It’s a fight that would be watched around the world and remembered on these shores for a long time. It’s the day before the World Cup final too… wishful thinking but imagine Fury v Joshua on Saturday then England in the World Cup final on Sunday. The country would come to a standstill. 40% of a Fury fight will be more money than 80% of whichever bum they were planning on having Joshua fight.

Seems everyone is happy with the split apart from Bellew who was referring to Joshua as ‘boxings version of McGregor’ this morning…

McGregor with 1% of his charisma and personality. What a truly absurd thing to say.

I don't know about charisma but Joshua has proved himself in the ring, amateur and pro. McGregor might be an MMA legend ( I don't know what that is, I'm no expert but everytime I've seen him fight he's lost ) but it's ridiculous to compare him and Joshua. Joshua would never sucker punch an old man in the pub but if he did, I'm sure the old fella would notice it this time.
