Eddie Hearn has made it clear he wants to dominate ate boxing especially in the Uk however he has literally gifted Ben Shalom and BOXXER a platform to grow there business that platform being sky sports boxing. The two biggest fights this year (in Britain) are Kahn Vs Brook and Fury Vs Whyte neither of which are matchroom promotions and as of right now matchroom have no big British fights planned for this year. So how are matchroom gonna be the biggest boxing promotion company if they aren’t promoting any of the big fights.

Last I heard Hearn was putting on Canelo v Bivol and Serrano v Taylor the two biggest fights in boxing this year for men and women.

It's starting to look like Shalom is getting some traction now. Sky are right behind him. In uk
We will see a major shift when some of the big names signed to MR, go to bxxr when there contracts up
But tbf hearn is very good at what he does. He's probably not too bothered about sky and Ben. As long as he keeps doinga good job,MR and Eddie will be fine

Yeah I agree. Eddie Hearn and MR will be fine but he doesn't portray himself as just doing fine. He proudly boasts of being the best promoter with the best promotional company and with the best broadcaster, that everyone wants to be with so doing just fine is a major step down from what he thinks he is and he should be reminded of that at every opportunity.

But he is also putting on the biggest fight in men's, so he can brag about it no problem.

The thing for Hearn will be creating stars from an app.

All his big fights are generated from other platforms

And how many Jack’s and Dave down the pub are going to tune into those realistically?

You could say that every promoter in the UK is in shambles right now. Matchroom is still the top dog, even though their UK schedule hasn't lived up to "game changed". At least Matchroom tries to have some meaningful fights on the undercards unlike the others.

Yes, there's normally a decent(ISH) undercard on Hearn's shows. Boxxer and Queensbury are terrible.

Stuff like this weekend is what I think will make it hard for DAZN.

Is there card much better than Skys. Yeah massively.

But most people deem the Boxing on Sky as free.

So they have boxing on Sky already at no cost. So do you pay for an alternative?

Like my uncle will see boxing on Sky and not register ir care that Dazn, eurosport or BT have a card on.

Because he has Sky and it is almost like its free

Canelo fight is kinda big but only because it’s Canelo. Bivol himself I don’t think as ever been a main card so not that big to me and as for the Taylor fight not all boxing fans follow womens boxing and I don’t hear about it being talked about that much but idk maybe I’m wrong.

Well AJ v Usuyk 2 was due to be one of the biggest fights but there is a little thing called war in Ukraine right now.

Exactly that’s why I think Eddie Hearn going to DAZN was a bad idea. Sky is much easier to use and comes with other sports such as football, golf, cricket and formula 1. Whilst DAZN only has boxing and a few other occasional things. I mean as a die hard boxing fan DAZN works fine for me but DAZN naturally puts casuals off.
