Solis won that fight comfortably yet lost on a UD not even a close split decision. Matchroom events are becoming a joke, Eddy is trying to get all his fighters W's any way possible. Recently we had Kell Brook up against GGG before the stoppage, Linares level with Crolla through 10 even though he was dominant, Gavin-Eggington was being scored dodgy before the stoppage. Feel awful for Solis you bring your A game smack around the champion for at least 7 rounds yet get stiffed on the cards blatantly I haven't seen scoring as bad as this since the Chudinov vs Sturm fight, England is becoming the new Germany. You gotta knock the guy out to guarantee you at least draw. Luckily Sosa wasn't stiffed too. Anyone else pissed by those scorecards?
Two of the 3 judges in the GGG fight you mention had it, rightly, level. If any of the two deserved to shade an extra round, it was Brook though. So that's not the best example. Linares won a UD against Crolla and, if any fight was ripe for bad judging tonight - why would they not have made it the world title fight? Bad judging is just, sadly, a part of boxing. I don't think it matters who puts the fight on - the home side invariably get the benefit of the doubt in close-ish rounds.
These aren't Matchroom judges you childish individual. These are world title fights. The sanctioning body names the judges Verdicts that could be argued happen on nearly every card, with every promotion, everywhere in the world. But I'm sure Matchroom are responsible for that, along with the two world wars.
