No, but according to several sources I have spoken to, DAZN is actually doing well here in the UK.

Yep this forum is an echo chamber and I find it funny how one can make predictions such as DAZN will go bankrupt when they have no idea how many people subscribe let alone what the companies plans are.

I said before that unless one believes Hearn is just lying the subscriptions must be ok as he mentions how the numbers are doing well.

People don't want to hear it but maybe the doom and gloom seen on here isn't what is happening in the real world.

Technology is poking them big time as the water sports activists viewing the cards are heavily outnumbering the DAZN UK subscribers. It would do much better on a TV Platform but the imminent takeover of BT Sports at the end of Sept 2021 has went cold.

Earn states 'Game Changed' but it looks like the same old shyte but an extra £7.99 to watch it with PPV coming as well.

Will watch in the same way as Box Office nights down at the River Inn but may resubscribe should there be much better and more regular cards to watch.

Good, solid schedule...but nothing special and nothing there really jumps out and excites me other than Ryder vs Jacobs which I think could be a great fight. The Okolie fight is good too, but looking at it against what was promised in terms of a much bigger unification fight a little underwhelming perhaps. Still a good test, and if he comes through I'd back him to unify.

Sadly, the fight we lost this week (Joe Smith Jnr. vs Callum Johnson) to me at least was much more interesting than most of what DAZN have planned for Feb and March.

However, if we get Felix Cash and Joshua Buatsi for e.g. in good competitive fights on these cards too, and a few other decent undercard fights I would say overall it is worth the price of admission and although it could definitely be better (isn't that always the case) I feel there would then not be too much to complain about at least for now..

Earn is a professional scammer mate and has been found out lying time and again.

Just look at his last card where he stated in October - 'You will not believe this card in December, it is a Xmas Cracker'. Paint Dry Parker v Pudding Chisora FFS with an undercard lacking great excitement.

Of course he is going to talk up his subscriptions.

Let's wait until the end of this year then see what he actually delivers in the UK for the £7.99 monthly DAZN UK subscribers without Box Office.

Unfortunately so. It's the same core of users who derail nearly all of the threads though with various agendas and they are easily blocked / laughed at / ignored.

There's members who I just disagree with on most things, but their viewpoints are provocative enough to be enjoyable, and they're very capable of engaging in civil debate. Others just seem to be keen on pouring bile, and merit nothing but the ignore button - recommend you give it a go.

Do you have any reliable sources to substantiate this?

I respect Eddie Hearn as a boxing promoter, but I do not trust what he says.

That's a good point, Jurgen. Let's see in 12 months time how many UK events we have had on DAZN.

Even if you believe that to be the case without having anything to disprove it simply posting DAZN will go bankrupt or everyone will cancel doesn't make it gospel.

Go down the river on fight nights - boats, nets and rods all over the water.

Did not state anything about Bankruptcy.

I know many people who subscribe to Sky Sports and BT Sports yet none at all subscribe to DAZN UK.

Ask around in your local bar how many subscribe to DAZN UK - the reaction is similar to asking for a used condom.

Earn is a very slick salesman who can easily reel people in by linking fighters to HUGE fights then on fight night, the fight and opponent is nearly always Ronnie Corbett. (The opponent is too old and the fight is small.) Listen to Connor Benn and Earn for the classic Matchroom sales pitch which is rinsed and repeated time and again.

Game Changed to me would be 18-24 cards similar to the Leeds card in 2021 - let's see what Earn delivers without DAZN UK Box Office for a real appraisal. That would be worth £7.99 per month.
