C5 should get the undercards on 5* then the headliners on C5 similar to what Itv did with ITV4

Yeah seems likely, he's probably part of the Golden Boy deal that Sky announced a while back.

I believe Khan signed a 3 fight deal last year. The Peterson rematch will be the 2nd fight of the deal.

In 2010 Matchroom, W*rren, Hatton and Maloney were offered new deals by Barney Francis and Adam Smith. They were told you have to deliver quality.

Matchroom have consistantly deliverd. Fwank jumped ship. Can you honestly say that Maloney and Hatton promotions have delivered on a consistant basis. Why do they deserve sky dates ahead of other promoers like Dave Coldwell and Steve Woods?

They ****ed up the Khan vs McCloskey PPV by putting on a weak card. None of the big shows they have put on have been in the UK. They never agreed a deal with Sky to show the Rhodes/Hatton vs Alvarez fights live for some reason.

Its clear that Sky are changing the way the put together boxing shows after seeing the success that was gained in viewing figures with fights like Brook vs Hatton, Froch vs Ward, Khan vs Peterson and Mitchell vs Murray. Hatton has not shown an ability to deliver these big events.

If Matchroom have 20 dates where they can deliver big, and then theres another 20 dates left over for all promoters to pitch big shows to Sky where is the problem?

I think talk of C5 stepping in and signing Hatton up is a bit too hopeful at this stage. C5 don't have much money to play with and are only really taking baby steps with Hennessey.

I'd be delighted if it happened but I just can't see C5 making such a big move and making such a bold statement until they've had further success with Tyson Fury and Eubank Jnr and can justify splashing the cash.

Does seem a strange decision on the back of Hatton putting together a quality card for Quigg-Munroe.

Compare there stable to Hattons, no comparison.

Hatton recently has put on some decent shows.

Decent is the word. Sky want quality.

Put these guys on an even playing field and Cowldwell and others will do a better job than Hatton.

There not though, Woods and Coldwell don't have good stables.

they can build. if you go by stables Frank is number 1 but he puts on crap shows.

Coldwell is doing Bellew vs McIntosh this weekend. They will have 5000 in the Echo Arena. Thats better than anything Hattons done after 3 years with Sky.
