"The @MatchroomBoxing hotline is red hot..new signings coming this week!! #teammatchroom " From Eddie's Twitter.

Anyone heard any rumours? Any Olympians?

Could be a host of fighters.

John Joe Nevin, Luke Campbell, Fred Evans? Maybe Jamie Mcdonell.

Someone who looked a lot like Agogo was ringside in Glasgow so unlikely to be him anyway

tha doesn't mean he won't sign elsewhere.

Hennesey, ****** & Hearn will all be in discussions.

Will Maloney even bother trying to sign anyone? Or is he a one-man band now, just managing Price?

Have many of the Olympians been picked up at all? I've not heard much on any of them turning over

John Joe probably going with Sauerland, but would be great if Machroom snaped him up.

I've heard they have made him an offer, but if theres an offer on the table from
Matchroom he will be daft not to take it.

Hearn has several Irish fighters now and will be probably looking to do a minimum of 3-4 shows a year in Ireland and John Joe can be on Frampton, Brook, Froch, Mccloskey and Linsday under cards, It makes sense.

I'll be surprised if Mcguigan doesn't offer to manage the lad.

Luke Campbell would be my pick. Hennessey, now that he has DeGale and terrestrial TV, may be more attractive to the Olympians than Hearn. That said, how many "attractions" is the optimal number for a promoter to have? I'd say around six to eight.

The worrying thing about Hennessy is does he have the money to pay big purses to the Olympic medalists? and if he does there is no way he has enough to keep them active.

Frank and Eddie will be the only promoters throwing big money at the Olympians.

Im not so sure the big money will be there for the olympians. Sure Campbell and Joshua will get paid a good whack but i cant see the non-medalists or even evans and ogogo getting as much as the 2008 non-medalist olympians, espically old wazza.
