    The future of Sky/Matchroom Boxing

I'm looking at the new season and it may look appealing for the casual but Crolla v Burns, Bellew v Haye, and Joshua v Pulev doesn't really set the world alight!

Okoli, Cordina, Kelly and fowler don't look anywhere near headlining. Sky Sports hasn't taken the Super 8 WBSS. Where does Eddie go from here?

Also saw Cotto wants a good last fight, is Brook a possibility?

Yes, a good do for the casuals but not much to write home about for proper boxing bods

Will he be able to soon Frampton? If he does, there might be one or two decent fights there.

We've had it very good for the last year.

Brook vs Spence, Joshua vs Klitschko, Haye vs Bellew.

Fights like Chisora vs Whyte etc...

Hard to top all that really.

I don't think Boxing fans have had it so bad being fleeced for many PPVs that are simply worth the price of a good fart.

The PPV mugs were absolutely rogered last week with an 'exhibition fight' and surely they cannot be so thick to keep on being fleeced good money for garbage.

MisMatchroom are gradually destroying Boxing first of all with Cartoon Shytefighter cards that have moved on to NextCan cards.

The non PPV Gash is now absolute turd and most of the PPVs are simply no better than Friday Fight Night cards like Moore v Macklin etc.

The only way Boxing will improve is for the mugs to boycott ticket sales and PPVs.

Conman McGregor and Floyd pissing themselves laughing at the PPV mugs along with Haye and Bellew.

I'm happy to pay for fights of Brook vs Spence, Joshua vs Klitschko, Haye vs Bellew calibre.

Is it anymore of a rogering than paying £3 for a coffee at Costa or £10 to watch a film at the cinema?

Nothings cheap these days. Even a freaking can of coke is 70p.

Sky definitely taking the urine charging expensive subscriptions then extra to watch Boxing.

If the PPV was for non Sky customers then that is fair enough.

Boxnation not charging their customers PPV for GGG v Canelo so why should we be happy that Sky are giving the loyal customers DP up the Brown Ring?

I get where your coming from but I pay for Sky including sky sports yet have to pay extra for PPV fights which to rub salt in the wound I pay the same price as non sky customers or sky customers who don't have the sports package. Cheaper to go the pub and watch them. Well maybe not quite but that's what i tell the wife

No interest in Haye-Bellew to be honest, that was trash to begin with and still is. Crolla-Burns is okay and I'm happy with Joshua-Pulev, I think that's a decent fight. The Liverpool card coming up is pretty decent too, so it doesn't look awful right now.

The thing I'm not looking forward to is seeing these Olympic guys be moved along real slowly.

Read the post again - most of the PPVs are simply no better than Friday Fight Night cards like Moore v Macklin etc.

You talk about levels of Boxing - tell me what title was on the line for Bellew v Haye or McGregor v Fraud or AJ v Dull Whyte??????

For every good PPV fight - there are at least double the number of stonkers.

AJ v Pudding Molina PPV - any buyers of that deserve DP up the arris by Eh Day and Sky

its about the undercards as well (you probably only watch the main event) the undercards on matchroom ppv cards like aj whyte and aj molina are very good cards. hundreds of thousands watched haye bellew and may mac so people wanted to see them. name a non ppv card that is as good as some of the ppv cards then?

Eh Day's cards on Sky are utter shyte including most PPV

Sounds like you enjoyed the NextCan card on Friday

The cards shown on Boxnation far better, particularly the Russian cards
