Also a complete ball ache for promoters to deal with lots of different rights. They might make £15m your off that fight from rights. If Dazn are in 200 territories and long term had for instance half the amount of Netflix subs at 100m. They would have a pot of £1billion a month on content. They could easily pay Matchroom £20m for the AJ vs Pulev fight and show it across the world.

if dazn is a massive success then we also get massive fights on the platform.

This they have already commutes to launching and can’t hold off any longer. With pandemic Sky have the UK fighters as matchroom have exclusive deal with them. Dazn can only show a US based fight and no one is ready to take a big fight Smith vs Jacobs was talked about.

dazn have two options hold off until next year or crack on as they have already invested the money in the software. They aren’t selling their US content to Sky anymore. They can either just open the doors and get some money in or keep the doors closed and get no money from the fights.

That fight in itself has been hovering around for ages anyway and I don’t really know why. Rosado isn’t going to over someone of Jacobs’ level much, even if Jacobs looks like he’s slowing a little.
