matchroom v warren cards

Warren 118-110 tonight.

 

Terry O'Connor took the Matchroom money and scored it a draw.

 

The Dodd vs Appleyard fight was great to watch. Thought Dodd was quality although Appleyard barely moved his head and was getting caught way too easily.

Fielding vs Ryder was an untidy fight. Ryder pushed him all the way and I thought Fielding's movement was very poor, letting Ryder move in and work him on the inside. I think he just about won it but I feel for Ryder.

Has Murray said himself after the fight, he was a level above Rosado. He made him miss a lot and countered him really well catching him with some lovely shots. The scoring however was absolutely ridiculous. Only one judge scored it about right with 116-112. The 119-109 and 114-114 were just silly. The former disrespectful to Rosado and the latter disrespectful to Murray.

The drama after the fight was good though and it looked like they were going to fight again.

No idea what the BT card was like but I chose Matchroom to watch the local lads.

 

I like Martin Murray usually but the way he acted post-fight was embarrassing. Rosado had every right to be livid with a 119-109 scorecard which is probably one of the worst I've ever seen.

I don't think 114-114 was disrespectful to Murray at all and was probably about right for me.

 

Bellew was terrible last night he doesn't no when to stop and take a breath

 

That Frank Warren card was very enjoyable

Opens up with one of the best fights ive seen in ages

Then almost all the other fights except 1 end by stoppage

Havent watched any of Hearn fights so cant comment. Was interested to watch Murray Rosado but the youtube comments put me off, everyone saying how boring it was. Checked the fielding fight and everyone saying the same for that so wont bother giving them a full watch as they are both 50+ minute videos

Seems like old man Frank spanked Eddie this time.

 

No way a draw mate, he won most of them rounds but Rosado did work him hard and show he was a decent fighter.

The post match stuff was very unlike Murray, I can only guess all the stuff with his daughter being in hospital has got him quite emotional at the minute.

 

I was flicking between them both but in fairness the bt card was the better one.
The masher dodd fight was a good fight tho on sky.
The presentation is still better on sky.

 

Warrens fights are always easier on the eye but the coverage is sh ite

Sky only showed ring walks for the main event which is very poor and the same stale turd coming from the mouths of Paul Smith and Bellew awful.

The BT card was better, the main event was far better and the presentation is improving by event.

I am able to watch 2 channels at the same time with Sky Q and the Matchroom card was relegated to the small box at the bottom of the screen.

BT much better than Matchroom last night and it is clear that Matchroom only care about the PPV events now.

 

Another terrible matchroom card made even worse by that knob head bellew the know it all, no way fielding won that fight and bellew and Smith backing their mate up just summed it up.

 

Ah right didn't know this, must have had an effect.

 

Matchroom haven't had a good saturday fight night card yet. Hull was average, Manchester was predictable with a terrible undercard, the burns card was ok i suppose, last night was below par.
