Only fighter I can recall owning up to it was Jarrell Miller before the AJ fight. It’s still disgraceful but at least he didn’t insult everyone’s intelligence.

What is the ban for anyone who fails a test? Sounds like they are totally against doping so I assume the punishments are strong and they disassociate themselves with any cheats?
On what grounds can VADA ban anyone? Unless a commission and its own recognised testing authority sanctions or recognises the test?
VADA only report findings, they have 0 jurisdiction on bans. This is why it's very easy to think this just PR spin from MR. Matchroom are basically judge and jury. What we've all learnt from the Benn thing, they have 0 interest in fighter safety.
Thanks for answering the question. The only ban that can be issued is from a recognised testing platform - if the BBBoC formally recognised VADA (which would be no bad thing btw) then any adverse findings would be subject to discipline. It doesn't. I still don't believe for a minute this didn't come up in Benn's defence. Hearn has said many times it's not a "jurisdiction issue" but that's not what people mean. It's about which tests the BBBoC recognises and whether it can allow UKAD to ban someone from a VADA test when the UKAD ones were clear. But of course confidentiality allows the issue to be framed in a particular way and we're none the wiser.
