So after the Liverpool show, this is what its looking like

    April - Allen vs Browne
    May - NEXTGEN in Nottingham
June - Kal Yafai in Birmingham
July - Dillian Whyte at the O2

Adam Smith WILL NOT be happy with this line up me thinks. Awful stuff.

Most of his UK stable fight in the USA now

It's really gone downhill for the UK shows since the DAZN deal.

I think sky should give some of his dates to another UK promoter

Hearn even admitted it in an interview on Seconds out. He said Matchrooms top UK fighters won't fight in UK anymore cause asky won't match the purses being offered in the US

They can't as far as I'm aware. They have an exclusive deal with Matchroom for them to be their sole provider of UK shows.

    What’s Frank’s UK schedule like?

Other than Warrington v Galahad we’ve got Dubois at Wembley arena? Anything else?

    Cyclone? MTK?

It’s not a matchroom problem. It’s a UK boxing problem.

The issue is the politics and lack of stars in US and UK boxing but everyone wanting PPV level money.

As Hearn said the likes of Smith are world champs that believe there value to be PPV but without the right fight will struggle to fight PPV. The US is the same many like the Charlos, Hurd and Gervonta want to be the next PPV man without being known enough to carry it. But the networks are in an arms race to make everyone bust.

We just have to hope that the likes of Buatsi, Kelly etc go on to be headliners. However in my opinion they are being rushed along as they are needed by the broadcasters. Back in the day most world champs waited until 20 plus fights to get to that level. They are talking about Okolie doing it in his 13th fight. Sometimes the long game is better and the hype can build but UK broadcasters don’t have that time.

One problem with too many different boxing platforms in the UK, is that the talent pool is spread out so it makes it more difficult to put on strong bills. Sky should pre DAZN launch got the best Matchroom fighters from the UK on exclusive deals.
