Or Herbie Hide vs Wilder, even. Herbie could bang too and was quicker to the punch and while I don't subscribe to the view that Bowe had an iron chin, it looked a lot better than Wilder's. Herbie still shook Bowe badly. In response to the OP question. Jimmy Thunder v Crawford Grimsley rematch, maybe, maybe not. A lot depends on whether Crawford can just see out the first ... erm ... punch.

Though I think he could, if he fought aggressively, but Lewis was very cautious. But Tyson, Foreman, Liston or Bowe (Prime) believe it or not have the combination of skill, power, and aggression to get the job done in one.
Lewis would fight aggressively against Wilder, rest assured. For two reasons. 1. He would realize that fighting cautiously gives Wilder the only chance he has. If you go at Wilder behind a stiff jab he's totally ineffective. Like absolutely clueless and inept. If you lay back, then you give him a chance to extend that right hand. Lewis would attack him, and Wilder wouldn't be able to do anything about it. 2. Wilder would talk hella trash before the fight, which would p!ss Lewis off. It was never a good idea to p!ss Lewis off.
