Mate Parlov v Henry Maske

Both were outstanding amateurs but at pro level I like Maske. Maske was very tough to solve, used his height and reach really well. He was flat IMO against Hill but outside of that he was very consistent if not dull.

 

I'm leaning towards Mate by a thin decision. Man proved himself against better foes.

 

You know McGrain, this thread is just a couple of degrees away from being like my infamous...and immortal (like the ******* wont stay away)...Hugo Corro vs Sven Ottke. By the way, I pick Maske, by the narrowest and ugliest of decisions.

 

To even ask this question is sacrilege.
