Tough man. He took a lot of powerful shots in bunches and never went down. Masternak's stance and the way he throws punches looks kind of similar to Vitali's style. Even the socks match. Well actually Master brought them down for this fight....

The Fin is one tough SOB with tons of heart.

Time for Master to move onto a title shot already. Clearly he is a worthy contender on the verge of making some noise.

I was really interested in having an outside opinion on Masternak, and how you guys rate him versus Wlodarczyk. Wlodarczyk fought unimpressively but won his last fights against legit boxers. Masternak was brilliant, but against mediocre opponents.
'Experts' in Poland tend to favour Wlodarczyk, but after their last bouts, I'm not sure.

I rate Chakhkiev, Dmytro Kucher and Yago Kiladze higher and would favour all of them H2H against Mateusz. He is a very good prospect CW just has alot of them. There's another Polish CW prospect Glowacki who was slightly more impressive against Romero who Mateusz had fought right before.

Except he's only 6'0 and even Vitali uses his arms to block shots when in the pocket. It's going to be his biggest problem once he starts facing top CW's.

That's exactly what I thought watching him too; when Haapoja got inside Masternak was suprisingly easy to catch.
