If he would of kept fighting like he was, in the 11th and 12th I would have had him winning by 1 point, a draw if he split the last 2. But he quit fighting the last 2 rounds, so Donaire won 114-113. Simple as that.

Maybe because when Mathebula lands it still looks like a plain tap while Donaire lands a few with a force of a cannon?

IMAO Pac fans getting mad hahahah. Too funny. Look at Donaire face. Look that fight in slow mo. Turn the television at 70 degrees. Stop the commentary and most importantly look how Donaire is stepping on Math-bla foot. And don't neglect the compu box!!!

Guys, please put your subjective biased opinions aside and recognize that the truly objective, neutral, and infallible CompuBox system had this fight as a clear robbery. Most of you scoring the fight for Donaire probably did so because you expected Mathebula to do better.

I look forward to Bob Arum and Todd DuBoef petitioning for an investigation by the California commission and Jim Lampley giving a stirring speech on what a travesty of justice this was (complete with one round presented without commentary) during the next episode of The Fight Game.

The fight was close. Sad thing about it, even if the African had won the last 2 rounds(which he didn't) he still would have lost the fight on the official cards:-(

Donaire's face didn't look like Mathebula was just tapping him.

He didnt win because he got knocked the **** down and got his jaw shattered.
Plus Nonito was landing the harder shots and Mathebula's legs were rubber for the first 3 rounds from glancing blows. Looked like Goddamn Bambi walking across a ****ing ice pond.

but why Donaire face had more damage if he was landing the harder blows. You can not completely ignore an important factor like facial damage. Facial damage exist in boxing and we discuss it on ESB. Deal with it!!!

Honestly, Mathebula should be glad he managed to get those free shots when Donaire was literally dangling his arms way low.

Donaire could've elected to get hit less, but then again, he'll be labeled as boring.

What a legend, this Donaire. Displays porous defense and gets hit in the face not because of any flaws, but because he cares about the fans!
