Why in the world is Matthew Hatton even being considered? Could he even beat an Alfonso Gomez right now??

I dont think you lot realise how good Matt Hatton is.

I've said it before, yes he's lost to some crap but he's so good he's not treated those fights in the right way, thinking he's above that level which is wrong to be fair but this guy is so damn talented.

People expecting Floyd to ease to a decision or get an early KO will be sorely mistaken. Hatton is quick, highly skilled, great work rate, good power and has a great chin. Ignore the losses, he was an unmotivated mess. New trainer, new idea's and this is the chance for his amazing potential to be realised. 50/50 this, maybe 60/40 Floyd if we are being kind.

50/50? I think your pulling our leg Scouse lad!! Matty Hatton isn't even the best ww in Britain and our best would not have any chance against Mayweather!!

I've no problem with him earning a big pay-day but he has (imo) literally no chance whatsoever and i'm sure he and everyone around him appreciates that. Besides, surely not even Mayweather is stupid enough to sign for this fight!! If he did sign to fight Hatton instead of one of the many world class fighters who are around the 147-154 mark, it would surely dispel any doubts most have as to Floyds's intentions regarding the Pacquiao fight (A fight I personally believe that Flyod would win!!).

We'll see. He's a super talent that just hasnt had the breaks in his career yet.

Rather than being both it seemed to be one or the other with the Hatton brothers and mistakenly Ricky was chosen. This guy is far more talented.

Matty is a wrecking machine & he's hungry!

Floyd ain't been hungry since he won the title!

  14. What the **** do you want him to say?

"I hope I don't get knocked out too bad whilst he's kicking my ass all over the ring."

    Yeah OK.
