doubt he has ducked barker imo just gotta take the euro shot when i comes and i think macklin would stop barker around the 6th round!!!
macklin and the hattons didnt fancy fighting barker in london. so they went out of there way to make a big offer to the fin.
If the Euro title is on the table a boxer will give the Commonwealth a miss 9 times out of 10. If Macklin wins the title he can fight Barker in a unification fight and negotiate his terms from a much stronger postition as European champ than he would have been able to as a challenger.
Why would he want to box for a tin pot piece of wank like the commonwealth when he can get a crack at Amin and hopefully a big push up the rankings?
